    Competition Obedience

    Joan teaches private and semi-private lessons in AKC competition obedience. She enjoys helping start beginners in the sport, as well as coaching experienced obedience handlers. Lessons are taught at our training barn in northern Benton County, Oregon. Send us an email for more information.

    Companion Dog Training

    Lessons are conducted according your goals and individualized training plans, not a class syllabus. Semi-private lessons can be arranged for 2 handler/dog teams working toward similar objectives.

    We can work on a wide range of training goals together: basic manners and obedience, extinguishing nuisance behaviors, tricks, canine sports, physical conditioning, or a combination of objectives.

    K9 Sports Foundation

    Whether you have a zesty 10 week old puppy or a middle age adult dog needing more action, dog sports are a great way to add fun to their lives and yours. Our K9 Sports Foundation is designed to clarify communication between dog & handler, introduce play as an approach to skills training and will build focus and resilience, traits necessary in sports and daily life. This 10 lesson package is offered at a 10% discount from our customary hourly rate.

    Whether you are excited about getting a jump start into competition agility or are just looking for a fun activity to share with your companion dog…we have a lesson plan tailored to you and your 4-legged partner! Dave works with most of the beginners, Joan teaches more advanced students.
